Ronn Astillas (He/Him)

Chair and Executive Director

An equality mover, inclusive business champion, entrepreneur, and independent international trade policy expert. With more than two decades of experience in public policy and regional economic integration, he currently serves as the Chairperson of the Philippine LGBT Chamber of Commerce, Asia’s first chamber of its kind. He holds a master’s degree in international political economy from the University of Manchester (UK). He is also a consultant for different private and international entities in the areas of investment promotion, regional trade, and stakeholder engagement among others.

Angel Romero (She/Her)

Director for Partnerships

A digital transformation specialist and entrepreneur who bridges corporate strategy with activism and social impact. At the Gokongwei Group, she led Digital Transformation for Content and Social, building communities of practice that elevated digital standards across the conglomerate. A National Convener for Pride PH and convener for Babae para sa Inang Bayan, she has helped build safe spaces and purpose-driven brands including Kapuwa, Anu’man, and Silingan Coffee. A founding Board Trustee of the Philippine LGBT Chamber of Commerce and Country Chair for Égalité at Publicis Groupe, Angel brings a unique “boardroom to the streets” perspective to brand, community, and social impact work.

Ryen Paul Sumayao (He/Him)

Director for Memberships & Regional Relations

Born in Quezon City and raised in Camarines Sur, he is a multidisciplinary creative working across fashion, branding, literature, queer studies, and entrepreneurship. He has worked with leading fashion brands and led campaigns for Bicol heritage brands BIGGS and QueRica. A co-editor of BKL/Bikol Bakla and fellow of the first National LGBT Writers Workshop, he co-founded Studio Hibang and award-winning Barbierro Barbershop™, the Philippines’ first queer barbershop. He currently serves as Director for Memberships and Regional Relations at the Philippine LGBT Chamber of Commerce, championing LGBTQIA+ representation and regional empowerment.

Atty. Joaquin Reyes III (He/Him)

Legal Counsel

A Filipino lawyer, company executive, and yoga teacher with over 15 years of involvement in LGBTQIA+ and HIV advocacy. He has contributed to advancing equality, inclusion, and access to rights and services for LGBTQIA+ communities across professional, corporate, and community spaces, bringing together his legal expertise, leadership experience, and commitment to well-being.

Evan Tan (He/Him)

Director for Communications

A Filipino communications professional, writer, entrepreneur, and LGBTQIA+ advocate. He is the co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Taxumo, a pioneering Philippine tax assistance platform for freelancers and small businesses, and a founding board member of the Philippine LGBT Chamber of Commerce. A former contributing editor for the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Evan has written extensively on LGBTQIA+ culture, equality, business, and social issues, with work published in local and international publications. He also created and hosts The Queer Pridecast, a podcast exploring queer issues and ideas with LGBTQIA+ personalities and allies.
